What is a Waldorf Doll?

Waldorf dolls are used by Waldorf School educators all over the world to promote and strengthen a child's imagination. They are generally crafted from wool and cotton and were originally made very plain without any facial features so the child could imagine the dolls expressions and overall look as needed during play. The wool stuffing absorbs a body heat quickly and makes the doll feel almost real to the touch. The crafting style of a Waldorf doll is derived from early traditional European design.
